    • Padre Island National Seashore (PINS): Protects nearly 70 miles of pristine coastline, sand dunes, and wind-swept prairies. It offers primitive beach camping, excellent bird watching, and famous park ranger-led sea turtle hatchling releases during summer mornings.
    • Whitecapt  Beach: is a fantastic local favorite! It is incredibly scenic, features lovely sugar-white sand, and offers a mile-long paved seawall that is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking if you want to avoid the sand all the way to Packery Channel, and to the right you can walk to The brand new Bob Hall Pier
    • Bob Hall Pier: is a brand new Pier that officially reopened on February 24, 2026. Located at Padre Balli Park on Padre Island in Corpus Christi, Texas, an iconic coastal landmark. 
    • Malaquite Beach: Features the park’s main visitor center, providing a closed-to-vehicles pedestrian beach area complete with restrooms and basic rinse showers. 
    • Packery Channel & Surf Beaches: The northern end contains developed local residential neighborhoods and beaches like Whitecap Beach and Michael J. Ellis Beach. These spots allow visitors to drive vehicles directly onto the sand with a local parking permit.
    • Bird Island Basin: Located on the calmer Laguna Madre bay side, this area serves as a premier national destination for windsurfing, kayaking, and shallow-water fishing. 

Important Travel Tips
    • Limited Services: Once you drive past the park gates into the National Seashore, there is no cell service, food, fuel, or running water. Pack all essentials. 
    • Beach Driving Cautions: The deep sand down-island requires a high-clearance 4WD vehicle. Always check local tide schedules before driving far down the coast.
